Love the creamy ice cream and fresh cones, but the service is atrocious. I rarely go there because even a short line takes forever. It’s not the young women’s faults who work there. They are trying. It’s because it’s understaffed. There are only 2 that are serving and ringing you out. Definitely need at least 3. Easily correctable for management. I would go there so much more often, but I rarely do because of this. No reason to be in a bad mood when eating ice cream. I hope they address, at least during dinner time hours.

Jeni’s is a Chapel Hill favorite for a reason. The ice cream is incredible—top-tier quality and unique flavors—but the atmosphere is great too. The vibe inside is always bright and energetic, and the outdoor seating is the perfect spot to hang out and enjoy the Franklin Street energy. A must-visit dessert spot!

Best ice cream place in NC! Love their limited editions like goat cheese and sweet biscuits with peach jam. Gooey butter cake and almond butter are also great options 😌

Located in a great spot in Chapel Hill. They have a nice selection of flavors and I really liked the Blackout Chocolate Cake and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. If you get two scoops in a cup, they separate them with a small waffle piece, which is a nice touch. They also offer waffle cones, but the cone was salty, which wasn’t for me. I prefer a sweeter cone or a cup. Cute bonus they offer half a scoop of vanilla ice cream for pups. Overall tasty ice cream and worth a visit. 🍦
